Our History

Our History

Our Beginnings,

Since 1921, through five generations of funeral directors, Delhomme Funeral Home strives to live up to the traditions established by Rene Delhomme and move into the future with new and innovative ideas.

The Delhomme Funeral Homes has been serving the Acadiana families for over 100 years. Our goal is to provide quality service that honors the memory of your friends and family members. Throughout the years, we have grown and expanded, but our commitment to the community has remained the same. Our promise is to provide a meaningful service and tribute, strive for excellence in all that we do, and take exceptional care of each family we serve starting from the time you walk through our doors.
