A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 25, 2022 in Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church for Barbara Ann Mouton, 82, who passed away on June 21, 2022 at her residence. Fr. Casey Dugas, Parochial Vicar of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Burial will take place in Sacred Heart of Jesus Mausoleum. Ms. Barbara, a resident of St. Martinville, was the daughter of the late Antoine Mouton and the former Vivian Labbe. For 48 years, she was a friend of Bill W. Barbara loved the beach, her hummingbirds, and her precious grandchildren. She will be greatly missed, and her spirit will live on with all who knew her. She is survived by her children, Angela K. Young, Dwayne E. Broussard, Christie A. Broussard, and Brad F. Broussard (Megan); sister, Marjorie E. Mouton; and grandchildren, Dominick Jennings, Kaitlyn Young, Hailey Young, Owen Jennings, Ava Broussard, Wyatt Jennings and Grayson Broussard. She was preceded in death by her son, Louis James "Dommy" Broussard, Jr; and parents, Antoine Mouton and Vivian Labbe Mouton. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Broussard on Saturday, June 25, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 12:45 PM. Pallbearers will be Brad Broussard, Dominick Jennings, Owen Jennings, Grayson Broussard, Wyatt Jennings, and Matthew Boudreaux. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dwayne E. Broussard and R.J. Breaux. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of NSI Home Health & Hospice for the compassionate care given in the family's time of need, especially Wendy, Tiny, Tina, and Tamika. A special thanks to her beloved Physical Therapist, Ryan "Sweet Cheeks" Borges. Finally, the family would like to thank her caregivers, Celeste Bourque, Renee Labit, and the numerous others who made a difference in her later years.
