Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 26, 2023, in Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Brandon Allan Breaux, 47, who unexpectedly passed on May 9, 2023. Pastor Chris Fuselier, Pastor of First Baptist Church - Youngsville, will conduct the funeral services. Burial will take place in Fountain Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Breaux, a resident of Edwall, was the son of the late Richard Breaux and the former Melissa Williams. A beautiful soul, born, baptized, and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana began his life journey. Brandon was blessed with a beautiful daughter Vanessa; she gifted him with three more grandchildren Lanzis, Leaux and Vella. Brandon and Vanessa's two sons shared extraordinary moments together. She will cherish and embrace the memories protected in her heart forever. She will never forget her commitment to Papa B, by telling her children about grandpa being so amazing. Brandon longed to meet Vella. He left too soon. God had another plan. Melissa McCarthy birthed four children. Brandon is the first born. Tiffany arrived three years later. The two siblings were inseparable. He adored her and looked after her. The siblings shared fabulous adventures together. A grand achievement accomplished by standing in the grassy plateau of a mountain top of the Pecos Wilderness. Their time shared abundantly exploring "the Land of Enchantment." Brandon participated in baseball, football, camping, skateboarding, and snow skiing. He was a Royal Ranger, Boy Scout, and an altar boy. He played the trumpet in band. His prize possession is a signed Sammy Koufax baseball. Mornings are best spent with grandparents. Brandon spent his early mornings with Grandpa Rob. He learned to read and discuss hot topics. He read the newspaper and recited all the States and Presidents before four years old. Grandmother Mildred showered love, affection, and blueberry pancakes. She adored Brandon. Rob and Mildred helped raise Brandon. Grandma cooked delicious meals on Sunday evenings. Aunt Tracy and Uncle Chuck were always present, gathered around the table too. A plate was set for Brandon's imaginary friend J. J. on occasion. Tracy and Chuck dedicated their time to Brandon and Tiffany. They were so good to both of them. Their doors were always open to Brandon and Tiffany. His family relocated to New Mexico in 1983. They purchased an art gallery in the heart of Old Town Plaza." Centered around the Cathedral of San Felipe de Niri and the Albuquerque Museum. It is the soul of Old Town that inspired Brandon to learn the diversity of land, people, food, and cultures. The Native American sidewalk street vendors selected him to be their gofer. He lived up to this honor. They tipped him well and rewarded himself with ice cream, empanadas and Mexican desserts. He loved the museum. His favorite exhibit is the Armand Hammer Collection. He studied the art of Cezaine, Renoir, Van Gogh, Monet Moreau and others. The new friendships presented invitations to reservations as their guest. After ceremonial dances he dined and feasted, in a unique culture, only offered to a few. Brandon loved Aunt Randy and Uncle Dave in Albuquerque. He treasured spending time with his cousins Forrest, Rene and Rhonda. Many great and cherished memories. Brandon's two younger brothers are Gabriel (Gabe) and Logan. He will always be their big brother. Ordinary brothers with a little rivalry but a ton of brotherhood. They'd get together reminiscing on their past laughing until they cried. They loved each other. Brandon's special bond is with his niece Adalya. She remained with her grandmother after her mother Tiffany passed. He loved her like his own. Brandon will always be her hero. Brandon's soul mate preceded him in laying down his life by five months. His mother believes she went to prepare a place for him in Heaven. A heartfelt appreciation to many friends and family that shared his journey. Thank you Michelle Whittfield and Lisa Mayers Thomas for loving and caring for Brandon. Thank you James Ivy and Timothy Savoy for being his loyal friend. Thank you Sharon Ryd for caring so much for Brandon. Brandon carried three valuable possessions. A pocket size bible, dictionary and thesaurus. He practiced calligraphy with the most deliberate cursive ever, similar to the likes of our Founding Fathers. His favorite quote: "Truly whoever can make you believe in absurdities can make you commit atrocities."-Voltaire." Brandon loved to travel. Forever seeking the next journey. A bit of a coddiwomple, he would never say goodbye but God Bless. His last quest, destined to Florida, rerouted back to Louisiana. He wished to sit on the beach watching the sunset before him. To glimpse the sparkle of time before the light surrenders to evening between the sky and ocean horizon. He didn't make that journey. He began a new one. He reached his final destination. Surely his final words left to everyone he knows, loves and meets is God Bless! He is survived by his daughter, Vanessa P. Breaux (Dustin J. Fox); grandchildren, Lanzis Credeur, Leaux Credeur, and Vella Fox; the mother of his daughter, Kayla Cormier Granger ( Brian); his mother, Melissa Williams McCarthy; paternal grandmother, Betty Cole Breaux; brothers, Gabriel L. Williams (Kisha) and Logan McCarthy; step-sister, Misty Graziano (Greg); nieces & nephews, Adayla Breaux, Darius Gotch, Roman Kilman, Jet McCarthy, Myles Williams, Ashton Gotch, Ronald Gotch, and Alyssa Gotch; aunts, Lovella Williams Kilman (Richard Toole) of NM, Tracy Robertson Arceneaux (Charles) of TX, and Robin Breaux of IN; cousins, Rhonda Bond (Dean), Forrest Kilman, and Rene Van Klaberen; and lastly his complementary family, Janie Seccombe Breaux and her children Damian, Ricky, and Adeo Breaux. He was preceded in death by his grandchildren, Nonnie Bennett and Carter & Vanna Breaux; his father, Richard Allan Breaux; sister, Tiffany Lynn Breaux; paternal grandfather, James Breaux; maternal grandfather, William "Bill" Forest Williams; and maternal grandparents, George and Mildred Robertson. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Bertrand on Thursday, May 25, 2023 beginning at 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Moment of Reflections will be held from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM, where loved ones and friends will be able to share their time in Brandon's life. Visiting hours will continue on Friday, May 26, 2023 from 8:00 AM until the time of service. Pallbearers will be Chuck Arceneaux, Chaz Arceneaux, Dean Bond, Dustin J. Fox, and Roman Breaux.
