Brent D. Henley

Brent D. Henley left this world on August 8, 2021 after a sudden and brief illness. Brent was born in DeRidder, Louisiana on November 9, 1957 to Thomas H. and B. Glorine Henley who preceded him in death. He lived in Oklahoma City until attending college in Shreveport, LA where he graduated and choose to settle down and start his family and business. Brent founded The Pyramid Group in 1980 providing consulting services nationwide and was the CEO until his passing. Brent loved life, his family and he excelled at forming life-long relationships. He would spend hours expounding on the virtues of his beloved Oklahoma Sooners. He and his wife Tammy loved to travel; he was an accomplished writer publishing his first book in 2018 and radio broadcaster. Brent’s master chef accomplishments were legendary, and he would spend almost every weekend honing his skills on the grill and smoker. He is survived by his wife and soulmate Tammy, daughter Lorraine and husband Jerry Kenly, daughter Sarah Henley, stepson Andre Bodin and daughter-in-law Lana Thomas Bodin, sister Lisa Henley, brother Brian Henley and grandsons Lathan and Nolan. A memorial service is planned for a later date in August. Brent touched the lives of hundreds of people and became a beacon of light for those around him and while the flame may be diminished, it will never be extinguished. The family asks that donations be made to the Brent Henley Leadership Foundation, in lieu of flowers.
