Brooke Danae Arceneaux

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, July 27, 2024 in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church for Brooke Danaé Arceneaux, 34, who passed away on July 16, 2024. Fr. Gregory Chauvin, Pastor of St. Jules Catholic Church, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Burial will take place in Calvary Mausoleum. Mrs. Brooke, a resident of Lafayette, was the daughter of the late Troy Anthony Forrestier and the former Annie Mae Alleman. Brooke Arceneaux was the heart and soul of her home. Her favorite role in life was being both a wife and a mother. She raised two sons Jaydon and Vander to be very well-mannered and thoughtful young men. She was married to the love of her life, Joshua, and will be remembered as a woman who devoted her life to him and their two children. Vacationing each year in Destin with her family was a favorite of hers in which she looked forward to making lasting memories. Brooke's love language was cooking and selflessly serving others was a huge part of her life! She enjoyed preparing delicious meals for her family and friends to gather and enjoy. Brooke always had a compliment of praise and admiration for others. Today, Brooke would likely say to all of you, "Your hair looks nice, or "I like your outfit". She was humble and kind, and never wanted to be the center of attention, nor was she comfortable getting compliments herself, even though she was a radiant beauty. Brooke loved God, and was a servant of the Lord, lovingly doing things for others on a daily basis. As her son mentioned, "she made people happy when they were sad". Brooke lived out the example of the noble woman in Proverbs 31:25-28, "She was clothed with strength and dignity; She spoke with wisdom, and faithful instruction was on her tongue. She watched over the affairs of her home, and idleness was not of her. Her children rose and called her blessed; her husband also, and he praised her." We celebrate Brooke's life as she leaves a lasting legacy for all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. She is survived by her husband, Joshua P. Arceneaux; sons, Jaydon and Vander Arceneaux; mother, Annie Mae Alleman Parker; siblings, Sheena Heath, Dylan Forrestier and Tristan Forrestier; maternal grandmother, Laura Alleman; and numerous family, friends, and loved ones. She was preceded in death by her father, Troy Anthony Forrestier. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Bertrand on Friday, July 26, 2024 from 9:00AM to 9:00PM. A Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM on Friday evening in the funeral home. Visiting hours will continue Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 8:00AM to 11:00 AM. Pallbearers will be family & friends.
