Carroll Joseph Boutin

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the Delhomme Chapel of Scott for Carroll Joseph Boutin, 58, who descended into heaven on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at 2:45 pm at his daughter's residence in Scott, LA. Interment will take place at St. Peter & Paul Cemetery, in Scott, LA. He leaves to cherish his memory his two daughters, Tenna Boutin and her fiancée Larry Landry and Tabitha Boutin Romero and her husband Ross Romero; three grandchildren, Landen, Briana and Colden Romero; the mother of his two daughters, Pamela Creduer and her husband Dwayne Foster; his two sisters, Norma(Faye) Boutin Trim and Darlene Boutin and her husband Tony Delahoussaye; his six brothers, Alton and his wife Debra Mayer Boutin, Calvin (his twin) and his wife Pat Gary Boutin, Michael D. and his wife Catherine Jones Boutin, Larry and his wife Cindy Short Boutin, Donald R. and Daniel F. Boutin, Sr. all of Lafayette; lots of nieces and nephews; God-children, Heather Trim Doucet and Roxanne Boutin Castille, as well as many cousins and friends who loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alton .J. and Mary Hilda Mayers Boutin; one brother, Edward J. Boutin, Sr.; one great niece, Avery Boutin; his paternal grandparents, Alibe J. and Agnes M. Pourciaux Boutin and his maternal grandparents, Octave and Cecile Boudreaux Mayers; his two step-children, Cody and Katelan Foster and a brother-in-law, Felix Trim. Carroll .J Boutin was born in Lafayette, LA on June 8, 1954. Carroll enjoyed fishing, bowling and playing his guitar (he and his brother Calvin played in a band). He loved getting together with family and friends. He especially enjoyed his daughters and grandchildren, they filled his life with joy, love and happiness. Carroll will be dearly missed by family and friends. But will be in our hearts. Pallbearers will be his six brothers, Alton, Calvin, Micheal, Larry, Donald and Daniel, Sr. Boutin and his two son-in-Iaws, Ross Romero and Larry Landry. Honorary Pallbearers will be his grandchildren, Landen, Briana and Colden Romero. The Family requests that visitation be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home of Scott on Friday, June 7, 2013 from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm and will continue on Saturday from 8:00 am until the time of services. The Family would like to extend a heartfelt gratitude to Hospice of Acadiana for the Loving care given to Carroll during his time of need.
