Catherine Louise Olivier

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 3:00PM on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 in Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church of Broussard for Catherine Louise Olivier, 42, who passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 25, 2024. Fr. Michael Delcambre, Pastor of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church of Broussard, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery. Catherine was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend; everyone she loved knew how much she loved them. She made a point to tell them and show them in sweet, personal ways. Catherine was a model of grace and strength in adversity through her courageous and stoic struggle with a long history of a complicated medical condition. Her steadfast faith and trust in God were a wonderful example to all who witnessed. She was incredibly proud of her son, Logan, and all they endured and accomplished together. She is survived by her son, Logan T. Storms; mother, Charlene Hebert Olivier; sisters, Melanie Olivier Lauer (Vincent), Terri Olivier, and Lauren Olivier; nieces, Kate Lauer, Ali Lauer, and Emily Owen; nephew, Vinny Lauer; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, especially her best friend Mary Richard & "The Supper Club." She was preceded in death by her father, Fulton J. Olivier Jr.; maternal grandparents, Brod and Ruby Reaux Hebert; and paternal grandparents, Fulton J. Olivier Sr., Joycelyn Rogers Olivier, and Patsy Broussard Olivier. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Bertrand on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 beginning at 11:00AM. A Rosary will be prayed at 1:00 PM on Wednesday afternoon in the funeral home with eulogies immediately following. Visiting hours will continue after the eulogies, until 2:15 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Kidney Foundation of Louisiana.
