Cleveland "Cleve" Foreman Sr.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, October 20, 2025 in Indian Bayou United Methodist Cemetery for Cleveland "Cleve" Foreman Sr., 95, who passed away on October 10, 2025. Rev. Larry Maxwell will conduct the funeral services. Mr. Foreman, a resident of Lafayette, was the son of the late Clarence Foreman and the former Jane Meaux. Cleve graduated from USAF Basic Training in 1950, Sheppard AFB, Squadron 3741, Flight 5338. He then deployed to Korea with the 17th Bombardment Wing (Light), during the Korean War. Upon returning from Korea, Cleve worked for the Western Oil Company, where he was a Cement Engineer and retired after 40 years. He is survived by his son, Cleve Foreman Jr., and his wife Monique; his daughters, Debbie Ebersole and her husband Monte, and Michelle Foreman. Cleve was the proud grandfather of Brittany Mahfouz, Alana Foreman and her husband Ty, Nicole McWhorter and her husband Kenny, and Jeneé Allemond and her husband Keenan. His legacy continues through them and his cherished great-grandchildren: Jayden Brown, Gunner Allemond, Phoebe Allemond, Preston Foreman, Freya Allemond, Weston McWhorter, and one "on-the-way". He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Gail Foreman, who was the love of his life and his steadfast partner in building a family filled with love and laughter. He is also preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Jane Foreman; siblings, Acy C. Foreman, Noah Foreman, Jimmy Foreman, Rose Foreman, Alice Spell, and Irene Foreman. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Bertrand on Monday, October 20, 2025 from 8:30AM to 10:00AM. Pallbearers will be Monte Ebersole, Kenny McWhorter, Keenan Allemond, Ty Foreman, Carl Benoit, and Jayden Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be Gunner Allemond, Preston Foreman, Weston McWhorter, Noel Foreman, and Charles Brown. The family would like to thank Joy Lormand and Sylvia Thibodeux for the loving care shown to their father. In addition, the family would like to thank the wonderful staff & nurses at The Calcutta House for the exceptional care provided to Cleve in his time of need. In lieu of flowers, the family requests charitable donations be made to Hospice of Acadiana’s The Calcutta House.
