Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 15, 2016 in Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers - Lafayette for Gregory Alan Manry, 59, who passed away on October 11, 2016. Burial will take place in Fountain Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Grizz, a resident of Kingwood, TX, was the son of the late Richard W. Manry and the former Eloise Sue Robinson. He is survived by his wife, Teri Domingue Manry; two daughters, Simone Ashley Manry and Katie Sue Manry; one son, Tyler Austin Manry; two sisters, Linda Manry Alleman and her husband, Scott and Susan Manry Abshire and her husband, Byron as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Bertrand on Friday, October 14, 2016 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Visiting hours will continue on Saturday from 8:00 AM until the time of service. Grizz graduated from USL in 1979 with a degree in Petroleum Engineering. Out of college he went to work for Tenneco Oil Company until 1988 then began working for Amerada Hess in Houston, TX until retirement in 2011. He started his own company, Cinco M Drilling Consultants in 2013 where he worked until his time of death. Grizz was well respected and loved in the Oil and Gas industry. He touched so many peoples' lives and enjoyed mentoring young adults. He was passionate about Texas Tech Football and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a devoted husband and father who adored his family. Although he had no grandkids, he loved and interacted with his nieces and nephews as if they were his own. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to #22kill or The Wounded Warriors Project. Pallbearers will be Casey Alleman, Jim Files, Justin Tooke, Joe Lemmons, Tim Flynn, Randy Springer, Slim Luttrell, Brice Fitzgerald, Jr. and Ron Brazzel. Honorary Pallbearers will be Marvin Garrett, Scott Alleman, Robert Tooke, Chad Williams, Brian Garrett, Doug Domingue, Kansas Hernandez and Alex Springer.
