Harrison Bradley Camel

Our precious baby, Harrison Bradley Camel, received his angel wings on Saturday, August 25, 2012. In his short time with us, Harrison brought immense joy to our family. His sweet disposition and contagious smile warmed the hearts of everyone he met. Harrison loved to play outside, and loved his big brother, Elliott. And as his mother describes him, "he had a twinkle in his eye." Although he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, we take comfort in the fact that he is in heaven with our Lord and are grateful for the time he enriched our lives. Funeral Services will be held at an 11:00 am Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at Our Lady of Fatima Church for Harrison Bradley Camel, 1, who passed away on August 25, 2012. Reverend Michael Russo, Pastor of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery. Harrison, a resident of Lafayette, LA, was the son of Marc Elliott Camel and the former Allayna Stelly both of Lafayette, Louisiana. He is survived by his parents; his brother, Elliott James Camel; his maternal great grandfather, Dolphie Stelly; his maternal grandparents, Harry and Mary Ellen "Bubbles" Stelly; his paternal grandparents, Leo and Jeanette Camel; his aunt and godmother, Raegan Stelly Maggio and her husband, Danny Maggio and their children, Mary Ellen and Matthew; his aunt Brittany Stelly Dinh, her husband Victor, and their children, Dominic and Camille; his uncle, Harry "Kip" Stelly and his wife Michelle; his aunt, Jennifer Camel Lantier, and her husband, Larry Lantier, and their children, Katherine and Anna Lantier, as well as numerous great aunts and uncles,cousins,and second cousins, and special friends. He was preceded in death by his great grandparents; Eloise Stelly; Bradley and Mary Ellen Foreman; Leopold and Velma Camel and Raife and Helen Sonnier; and his great uncles, "Mac" Price and James Camel. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home of Lafayette on Wednesday from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM and continue Thursday from 8:00 am to time of service. A rosary will be recited Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm in the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Larry Lantier, Harry "Kip" Stelly, Brock Roy, Danny Maggio and Victor Dinh. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in the name of Harrison Camel to Missionaries of Charity, 904 Jack Street, Lafayette, LA 70501.
