Harry J. Baudoin

Funeral services will be held at a Mass of Christian Burial Monday, May 22, 2006 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Milton at 11:00 AM for Harry J. Baudoin, 89, who died Friday, May 19, 2006. Rev. William Gearheard, Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church, will be Celebrant of the Mass and conduct the funeral services. Interment will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery in Milton. Mr. Baudoin, a native of Youngsville, was the son of the late Galbert Baudoin and the former Leah Landry. He was a graduate of Youngsville High School and SLI (now ULL) in 1941. He served in the Army Corps as Sergeant during World War II. He retired from Cities Service Oil Company in 1979 with 34 years of service as a lab technician. Mr. Baudoin was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus and a member of St. Joseph's parish. Survivors include his devoted wife of 61 years, Ruby Hebert Baudoin, his children, Steve Baudoin and wife Charlotte of Sulphur, Charles Baudoin and wife Chris of Kansas City, MO, Janet Sierra and husband Austin of Baton Rouge, Melanie Francois and husband Martin and Celeste Fortier and husband Gabe all of Milton. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and a sister, Clara Aucoin. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Fred Baudoin, Ivy Baudoin, James Baudoin and his sister, Anna Lee Larriviere. The family requests that visiting hours be observed Sunday from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and continue Monday from 8:00 AM to time of service. A rosary will be recited Sunday at 7:00 PM in the funeral home. Pallbearers will include Austin Sierra, Martin Francois, Gabe Fortier, Jared Baudoin, Benjamin Oustalet, Danny Baudoin and Chad Baudoin. Honorary pallbearers will include Beau Sierra, Elliot Sierra, Kolbe Baudoin and John Baudoin.
