Henrietta Gautreaux

Funeral Services will be held at a 10:30 am Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church for Henrietta Gautreaux, 95, who passed away on August 2, 2010 at 12:25 am at her residence. Reverend Gilbert Dutel, Pastor of St. Edmond's Catholic Church, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Burial will take place in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery. Mrs. Gautreaux, a resident of Duson, Louisiana, was the daughter of the late Frank Constantine of Lafayette Parish, Louisiana and the former Elizabeth Benoit of Rayne, Louisiana. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Lester Gautreaux, Nabbie Roberts Robin, Wilda Bergeron, St. Theresa's Hospice, and Dr. McKarren for their care during Mrs. Gautreaux's last years. She is survived by two daughters, Nabbie Roberts Robin of Duson, and Wilda Bergeron of Lafayette; two sons, Lester Gautreaux of Rayne, and Floyd "Jimmy" Gautreaux and wife Deana LeBlanc Gautreaux of Lafayette; 12 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 17 great great grandchildren; one sister, Angelle Richard of Lafayette; one brother, Gladston Constantine and wife Francis Guidry Constantine of Lafayette; two sisters in law, Delia Constantine of Lafayette, and Thelma Constantine of Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband James Gautreaux; sons in law, Raymond Roberts, J.R. Robin, and Avery J. Bergeron; daughter in law, Dolores Gautreaux; one great granddaughter, Samatha Rae Gautreaux and her mother Amy Clifton Gautreaux; four brothers, Augusta Constantine, Martin Constantine, Vernie Constantine, and Clyde Constantine. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home of Scott on Tuesday from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm and will continue on Wednesday from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday evening at 7:00 pm. Pallbearers will be John Varner, Isaih Mendoza, Bryan Bergeron, Keith Bergeron, Corey Gautreaux, and Doug Varner. Honorary Pallbearers will be Glenn Roberts, James Roberts, Guy Bergeron, Stacy Gautreaux, and Aaron Richards. Memorial contributions can be made in the name of Mrs. Gautreaux to St. Theresa's Hospice, 100 General Mouton Avenue, Lafayette, LA 70501.
