Hilda DeWolf Webster

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Hilda DeWolf Webster, 93, who passed away on January 15, 2010 at Cornerstone Village South. Reverend John Wamsley, Pastor of Grace Presbyterian Church, will conduct the funeral services. Interment will take place in the Masonic Cemetery. Mrs. Webster, a resident of Lafayette, LA, was the daughter of the late Allen Jay DeWolf of Rockford, Iowa and the former Sarah Harris of Tarsney, Missouri. She was a Charter member, as well as serving as an Elder and Deacon with Grace Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of WOC at Grace Church, the BZ 10 Sewing Club and the Eastern Star Chapter No. 46. She was an avid gardener and a loving Mother, Grandmother and Great grandmother and will be dearly missed by all. She is survived by her daughters, Jane Upchurch and her husband Gary of Lafayette and Katherine Webster of New Iberia; son, Rush Allen Webster and his wife, Pam of Cincinatti, Ohio; grandchildren, Jennifer Thompson and her husband John of Duson, Brian Upchurch and his wife, Nicole of Dallas, TX, Melissa Droblyn and her husband Nathan of Dallas, TX; Jessica Bailey of Cincinatti, Ohio and Kelley Costello and her husband Richie of Cincinatti, Ohio. Great Grandchildren, Kelsey Upchurch of Dallas, TX, Ambreia Thompson of Duson, Ryanne, Keira and Liam Costello of Cincinatti, Ohio and Evan Bailey also of Cincinatti, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rush Gordon Webster; parents, Allen Jay DeWolf and Sarah Harris DeWolf and ten brothers and sisters. The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Monday, January 18, 2010 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and will resume at 8:00 am Tuesday until 30 minutes prior to service time at Delhomme Funeral Home of Lafayette. Pallbearers will include Brian Upchurch, John Thompson, Richie Costello, Floyd DeWolf, Allen DeWolf and Damon Pugh.
