Jack J. LeBlanc

Funeral Services will be held at 12:30 pm on Saturday, March 9, 2024 in Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers - Bertrand for Jack J. LeBlanc, 94, who passed away on March 5, 2024. Msgr. Keith DeRouen will conduct the funeral services. Burial will take place in St. John Cemetery. "Smiling Jack", a resident of Lafayette, was the son of the late Oliver J. LeBlanc, Sr. and the former Edythe Buford. Jack was a U. S. Army Veteran having served in the Korean Conflict. He worked as a banker (First National and American Banks), realtor, and an accomplished musician, having entertained with Hank Williams at the Grand Old Opry in Nashville as well as numerous musical groups. He is survived by two sons, Oliver J. LeBlanc, III and wife, Marie, and William Nolan LeBlanc, and wife, Gwen; four daughters, Nanette L. Withrow (Jim Perry), Valerie L. Culver, and husband, Charles, Mary Susan Butler (Neal Estay), and Andrea Lynn L. Breaux; grandchildren, Elizabeth L. McCormick (Jay), Katherine L. Colvin (Christopher), Oliver J. LeBlanc, IV (Kaitlin), Ramsey Brice LeBlanc (Karen), Jordan Olivia LeBlanc, Kerry Matthew LeBlanc, Kalissa Claire LeBlanc, Katie Howell (Thomas), Kyle Philip LeBlanc (Sarah), Christopher John "Sonny" LeBlanc (Heidi), Jaaroed Butler, Brody Butler (Brooklyn), Isaiah Breaux, and Emily Claire Breaux; great grandchildren, William Jay McCormick, Cecilia Elizabeth McCormick, Robert Oliver Colvin, Evelyn Anne Colvin, Reis Matthew LeBlanc, Greer Michael LeBlanc, Porter Lee LeBlanc, August Adler LeBlanc, Elle Anders LeBlanc, William Ford LeBlanc, John Ramsey Meche, Kaiden LeBlanc, and the mother of his children, Barbara Nell Volk. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one son, Gary Matthew LeBlanc. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home on Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 8:30 am until the time of service. A rosary will be recited at 11:30 am. Pallbearers will be his eight grandsons.
