Jerry Ann Delcambre

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 in Delhomme Funeral Home - Chapel of the Flowers for Jerry Ann Delcambre, 86, who passed away on January 25, 2024, at her residence, surrounded by her loved ones. Pastor Gerald Miller with Christian Center Church will conduct the funeral services. Burial will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery, New Iberia. Jerry, a resident of Lafayette, was the daughter of the late James Gonzales, Sr. and the former Jessie Haycock. Jerry was a graduate, Class of 1955, New Iberia Senior High School. She participated in sports, was a cheerleader and a member of the marching band, playing clarinet. Jerry was a Bowling enthusiast and was the Louisiana State Champion of 1968. She was active in her church and loved playing her guitar and singing at local Nursing Homes. Jerry was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be missed by all who loved her. She is survived by her children, Jamie Langlinais, Kathy Delcambre, Chris Delcambre, and Julie Primeaux and husband, Dale; 11 grandchildren, Christy Delcambre, Justin Delcambre, Ashley Delcambre, Michael Delcambre, Stacy Bernard, Jack Langlinais, Rachel Triche, Jacob Martin, Emily North, Travis North, and Megan Moss; 13 great grandchildren; one great great grandson, and one brother, James Gonzales, Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Verland Delcambre; son, Lynn Delcambre, and two brothers, Ernest "DeDe" Gonzales and Michael Gonzales. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Bertrand on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Pallbearers will be Chris Delcambre, Jack Langlinais, Travis North, Dale Primeaux, Justin Delcambre, and Michael Delcambre. The family would like to thank the staff of Heart of Hospice, as well as her Nursing Assistants, Miss Lou, Kat and Nakiya, for their compassionate care.
