A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, April 26, 2010 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 419 Doucet Road for Mr. John Clifford 'Cliff' Hebert, 54, who passed away on April 22, 2010 at 1:17PM at Lafayette General Medical Center. Interment will be at Fountain Memorial Mausoleum located at 1010 Pandora Street, Lafayette, LA (behind Adrien's Supermarket). Reverend Buddy Breaux, Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Loreauville, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services. The con-celebrants will be Msgr. Richard Green, Pastor of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in New Iberia, LA; Fr. Howard Blessing, Pastor of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Lafayette; Fr. Gary Schexnayder, Pastor of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Crowley ; Fr. Harold Trahan, Pastor of St. Mary Catholic Church, Lafayette and Fr. Joseph Brennan, retired. Deacons will be Jim Kincel, Director of Permanent Diaconate, Bob McDonner, Jim Davis, Mike Clark, Ricky Picard and Randy Hyde. Musical selections will include Be Not Afraid, Taste and See, Our Father, Surely the Presence, Ave' Maria, There is a Time, and How Great Thou Art. The soloists will be Deacon Bob McDonner, Karen Broussard and Denise Concienne. Organist will be Deborah Duhon. Mr. Hebert is survived by his daughter, Kaelyn Michelle Hebert of Lafayette; his parents, Henry Leon Hebert and Billie Joyce Duhon Hebert of Lafayette, one brother, Edward Paul 'Eddie' Hebert and wife Vickie of Lafayette, two sisters, Paula H. Duhon, wife of Marlon Duhon of Duson and Julia Herrick, wife of Drew Herrick of Lafayette. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and godchildren. A native and lifelong resident of Lafayette, Louisiana, Mr. Hebert was employed by Top's Woodwork & Supply, Inc; a family owned business, Limousine's Limited, Delhomme Funeral Home and Delhomme Construction. He was a free-lance decorator and consultant for church weddings. His passions were his friends and clientele. Most of all Cliff was honored to be called 'Kaelyn's Dad'. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. A wake service will be held on Sunday, April 25th from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm and continue on Monday from 8:00 am until time of service. Visitation will be located at Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers, 1011 Bertrand Drive, Lafayette. A scriptural rosary will be prayed and sung by Deacon Bob McDonner on Sunday at 7:00 pm. Pallbearers will be Ricky Palombo, Art Garrett, Marlon Duhon, Eddie Hebert, Richard Hebert, Monica Romero, Brian Ducharme and Ryan Richard. Honorary pallbearers will be Betty H. Nugent, Keith Reed, Keith Prejean, Justin Mire, Terry Judice, the late Robert Trahan, Mrs. Coni Trahan, Hunter & Renee Trahan, Todd & Mignon Trahan, Brandon & Amy Trahan, Neal & Ashley Guidry, Raymond and Alison Hebert, Denise Leger, the gang from Sunday afternoon at 'HONEY'S', Duane and Sandra Delhomme and the staff at Delhomme Funeral Home, Denise Concienne and the (yah-yah's), Darcy, Sally, and Ashley Guidry, Karl and Glenda Credeur, Jane Myers, Van Ricardo, and the gang at Top's Woodwork, Stacie Guidry and the gang at The Floor Store of Acadiana, Wes Castille, Perry Peltier, R.T.
