Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 4, 2025, in Delhomme Funeral Home - Chapel of the Flowers, for John Ricson Javellana, 58, who passed away on September 28, 2025. Pastor Bob Zanini of Life Church of Lafayette will conduct the services. Interment will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Bertrand on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 9:00 AM until the time of service. John Ricson Javellana was a man of strong faith, whose life reflected devotion to God, family, and hard work. Born to the late Ricardo Javellana and Sonia Verdeflor Javellana in Negros Occidental, Philippines, Ricson carried with him the values of humility, perseverance, and quiet strength throughout his life. He graduated in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Don Bosco Technical College. His professional career took him to Alcatel and Harris Corporation, where his dedication, skill, and integrity earned the respect of his colleagues. In his youth, Ricson served as a C.A.T. officer and was also a varsity basketball player, demonstrating both discipline and teamwork early on - qualities that would shape his character throughout his life. Ricson shared twenty wonderful years of marriage with his loving wife, Tiffany. Together they were blessed with three children - John Michael, James Gabriel, and Angelica Maria - whom he loved deeply. As a man of sacrifice and commitment, he ensured that his children were educated and raised in a Christian school, instilling in them the same faith and values he lived by. Friends and family remember Ricson as witty yet humble, quiet and reserved, but always thoughtful. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, a faithful friend, and a man who left a lasting mark on those who knew him. His life and legacy will be remembered with gratitude, admiration, and love. He is survived by his wife, Tiffany Javellana; his children, John Michael Javellana, James Gabriel Javellana, and Angelica Maria Javellana; his sister, Mary Jo Ann Javellana; and several uncles, aunts, and cousins.
