Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Katherine Landry "Kitty" Culotta, 77, who passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at her residence with her loyal friend Bobbie and her loving son, Gary Cremeens and a friend, Pam Galjour at her side. Deacon Cliff Tanner will conduct the funeral services. Musical selections by Bonnie Logan and Curt Boudreaux. Lector will be Maugie Pastor. Giftbearers will be her sisters, Maugie Pastor, Betty Deffez, Theresa Domguard, Florine Stelly; and sisters-in-law, Maria Landry and Cheryl Landry. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery. Katherine Landry Culotta was born and raised in Lafayette where she finished high school at Mt. Carmel School. Upon graduation, Miss. Culotta then attended SLI and went to work as an insurance adjuster. She then married Thomas J. Culotta and reared her children in Lafayette, LA. After her husband's death in 2003, Mrs. Culotta moved on with her life; becoming independent and being carefree. She was loved by many to whom crossed her path. The last decade of her spiritual life, Katherine enjoyed family, friends, traveling, fishing, witnessing and distributing to the under privileged and assisting the disabled. She cherished the last years of her life. During her younger years she enjoyed spending time at her father's horse farm. She was a fabulous cook inheriting the Landry tradition of cajun cooking. Kitty was most happy surrounded by her friends and her beloved dogs, Sebastian and Danai’. Katherine, a resident of Scott, was the daughter of the late William Landry and the former Maude LeBlanc. Left to cherish her memory are her devoted friend Bobbie McGoldrick Pisauro and her husband Dan, whom she considered a son; loving grandson, Chad Credeur; loving son, Gary Cremeens; her children, Kim Culotta Hebert and husband, Gerald, Thomas J. Culotta, Jr.; granddaughter, Victoria Culotta Hargrave and husband, Dillon; grandchildren, Jewell, Whitney, McKinzi, Bronson, Asia, Bailey, Taylor and Trent; sisters, Maugie Pastor and husband Pat, Theresa Domgaurd and husband Doug, Betty Deffez and husband Gerald, Florine Stelly and husband Todd; brother, Floyd Landry and wife Maria and sister in law, Cheryl Landry and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Culotta Sr.; parents; brother, William G. "Billy" Landry and granddaughter, Jami Veillon. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Bertrand on Monday, March 20, 2017 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM. Pastor Toby Ryder will do a eulogy at 7:00PM Monday evening. Visiting hours will continue on Tuesday from 9:00AM until the time of service. Pallbearers will be Jude Pastor, Boo Bernice, Chad Credeur, Trent McGoldrick, Bronson Credeur and Gary Cremeens. The family would like to thank Bobbie McGoldrick Pisauro and Gary Cremeens who never left her side during her illness and death. Their total dedication and loyal friendship during her illness and death was a living sign of their love for her.
