Lena Mae Solis

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 19, 2021 in St. Genevieve Catholic Church for Lena Mae Solis, 94, who passed away on August 14, 2021. Reverend Brian Taylor, Pastor of St. Genevieve Church, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Musical selections will be sung by Jodi Bollich. Readers will be Patti Trahan and Meagan Duhon. Burial will take place in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Lena, a resident of Lafayette, was the daughter of the late Gilbert Credeur and the former Anna Hebert. She is survived by her children, Patrick Solis (Anna), Larry Solis (Nancy), Becky Green (Tommy), Debbie Duhon (Dan), and David Solis (Angela); grandchildren, Patti Trahan (Keith), Dwayne Solis ( Nancy), Shannon Richard (Duane), Chris Solis (Amy), Courtney Green, Jodi Boudreaux (Steve), Shane Solis, Jennifer Solis, Tyson Green (Hillary), Sara Solis, Meagan Duhon, and Daniel Duhon (Anna); great grandchildren, Ryan, Jonathan, Garrett, Sydney, Reagan, Carter, Jacob, Brooke, Taylor, Hunter, Jessie, Mallary, Roland, Jackson, Finley, Abram, Kiki, David, Mia and Ava; great great grandchildren, Oden, Jaycee, Aubree, Reid, and Ridley as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David Joseph Solis; brother, Joe Credeur, and two sisters, Hazel Bergeron and Frances Boutin; daughter in law, Stephanie Solis, and grandson, David S. Solis and numerous nieces and nephews. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Bertrand on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. A Rosary will be recited at 6:30 PM on Wednesday evening in the funeral home. Visiting hours will continue Thursday from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM. Pallbearers will be Dwayne Solis, Shane Solis, Chris Solis, Sara Solis, Tyson Green, Daniel Duhon, Taylor Green, and Ryan Trahan. Honorary Pallbearer will be Frank Cuccio.
