Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday 23, 2009 in Delhomme Funeral Home of Maurice for Lillian Duhon Primeaux, 79, who passed away at her residence on Friday, March 20, 2009 at 9:30 AM after a lengthy illness. Reverend O. Joseph Breaux, Pastor of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, will conduct the funeral services. Musical selections will be provided by her grandson, Max Philip Bourque. Interment will take place at St. Alphonsus Cemetery. Mrs. Primeaux, a resident of Maurice, was the daughter of Romain Duhon of Maurice and the former Marie Duhon of Maurice. Ms. Lill was a fantastic women, great mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and mother-in-law. She was devoted to her church having been a member of the Ladies Altar Society for many years. In her early years she was a telephone operator, then as a beautician for many years in her home. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her life and joy she will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She is survived by one son, Barney Primeaux and his wife Brenda of Maurice; four grandchildren Cary LeDoux and husband Brent, Clay Primeaux and wife Betty, Dr. Thad Primeaux and his fiancee' Dr. Brandy Kelly, and Max Philip Bourque; four great-grandchildren, Ali Lantier, Landon Ledoux, Seth Primeaux, and Ryder Hawley; daughter-in-law, Margo Granger Primeaux; and her son-in-law, Max Bourque. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Louis Primeaux; one daughter, Darlene Primeaux Bourque; one son, Kenneth Louis Primeaux; two brothers, Lurnis Duhon, and Woodley Duhon. The family request that visiting hours be observed on Sunday from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and will continue on Monday from 8:00 AM until time of services. A rosary will be recited on Sunday at 6:15 PM in the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Max Philip Bourque, Max Bourque, Clay Primeaux, Gregory Ross, Brent LeDoux, and Dr. Thad Primeaux. The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Harmon, Louisiana Hospice & Palliative Care, her nurses Jill, Pam, Vickie, and Elaine for the blessed care they gave to Ms. Lill. A heartfelt thanks for doing the work they do and the support they give to all the families in their time of need. "God Bless You".
