Lois Elizabeth Domingue

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Lois Elizabeth Domingue, 84, who passed away on April 10, 2021. Burial will take place in Fountain Memorial Cemetery. Lois loved gardening, reading, history, football, fishing, crabbing, cooking, family gatherings, and television (Oak Island, Swamp People and the Hallmark channel). She also took a horticulture class at USL. Lois was the secretary for Southwest State School Parent Association for many years. Her greatest love was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She selflessly devoted her life to her special-needs son, Shane. Mrs. Domingue, a resident of Lafayette, was the daughter of the late Augustine Constantine and the former Polita Roberts. She is survived by her four children, Rebecca Garrett and her husband, Marvin, Teri Manry, Sharon Cruice, and Shane Domingue; grandchildren, Dana Sloane, Tracy Vansickle, Brian Garrett, Simone Manry, Katie Manry, Tyler Manry, Britain Domingue, Karli Young, Ambry Marceaux, Victoria Cruice, and Abigail Cruice; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Ann Guidry and Betty Ann Norse, and her daughter-in-law, Laurie Domingue. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Daniel Domingue; son, Doug Domingue; granddaughter, Brittany Domingue; son-in-law, Grizz Manry; and siblings, Clifton Constantine, Martha Sonnier, Louis Constantine, and Darrell Constantine. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Bertrand on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday at 6:30 PM in the funeral home. Visiting hours will resume on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until the time of service. Pallbearers will be Britain Domingue, Tyler Manry, Brian Garrett, Michael Sloane, Marvin Garrett, Jeff Sloane, and Kealy Vansickle.
