Myrtis Ann LeBlanc

Myrtis Landry LeBlanc, 79, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2015 at her home in Lafayette. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She graduated from Mt. Carmel High School Class of 1953, studied at USL, and worked for Southwestern Bell and Forest Oil Company, before beginning her family. She was a devoted volunteer for the Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Cities Service/Oxy Retirees, Ben Taub Hospital in Houston, TX and Hospice of Acadiana in Lafayette. She loved traveling, fishing, playing cards with her friends, and visiting with her children and grandchildren. Myrtis will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her five children, Stephanie Boudreaux Giles (Peter), Bryan Boudreaux (Leslie), Donna Montgomery (Jerry), Michael Bonvillain and Betsy Kamin (Daniel); nine grandchildren, Alexis Boudreaux, Brandon Boudreaux, Brittney Graebner (Jayson), Courtney Graebner (Patrick), Sydney Owens, Wyatt Kamin, Miller Montgomery; step grandchildren, Ella Giles and Tess Giles, Matthew and Vania Mouton, Kenneth and Steven Montgomery; four great grandsons, Jaxden, Brantley, Landry Graebner and Cash Montgomery; one great granddaughter, Brooklynn Gianfranciso; one sister, Claire Henry; her aunt, Verna Barrilleaux; three sisters-in-law, Dee Bernard, Gayle Waters and Barbara Ann Nickens; and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald Leo Boudreaux (1966); her second husband, Donald J. Bonvillain (1986); her third husband, James Donnie LeBlanc (2007); and her parents, Joseph and Myrtis Benton Landry. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at a 1:30 PM Mass of Christian Burial in Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers. The family requests visiting hours be observed in Delhomme Funeral Home on Bertrand on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. A Rosary will be prayed at 12:00 PM (Noon) on Tuesday in the funeral home. Pallbearers for the Lafayette service will be Bryan Boudreaux, Peter Giles, Dan Kamin, Jerry Montgomery, Bruce Henry and Trey Elder. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 2:00 PM in Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77079. Pallbearers for the Houston Graveside Service will be Bryan Boudreaux, Michael Bonvillain, Brandon Boudreaux, Wyatt Kamin, Miller Montgomery and Rick Conley. Honorary Pallbearers are J.E. Delahoussaye, Ken Giles, Jayson Graebner, Patrick Graebner, John Lukert, Tony Nicholas, Dean Grafton, George Frey, and Jon (Kesley) Cloy. Memorial contributions can be made in Mrs. LeBlanc's name to Hospice of Acadiana, 2600 Johnston St., Suite 200, Lafayette, LA 70503.
