M. in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Rowdy Lee Shaddox, who passed away on April 14, 2010, at his residence in Youngsville. The services will be conducted by Reverend Byron Aucoin of Covenant United Methodist Church. Internment will be In Greenlawn Cemetery in Carencro. Rowdy was born in Crane Texas on January 6, 1963 and has been a resident of Lafayette and Youngsville since 1965. He was a graduate of Acadiana High School and earned his BS Degree from USL in Petroleum Engineering. His time away from the oilfield industry was spent in construction, remodeling, auto repair, and various entrepreneurial enterprises. He played on several dart leagues over the years and was an enthusiastic member of the Who Dat Nation. He is survived by his parents, Fred and Nancy Shaddox of Lafayette; one brother, Terry Shaddox (wife, Glynnis) of Lufkin, Texas; three sisters, Karen Shaddox (husband, Nelson Schoeffler) of Lafayette, Linda Landry (husband, Norman) of Broussard, Donna Conklin (companion, George Cooper) of Davenport, Iowa; four nephews, Justin, Jarod, and Tim Cromie and Tanner Shaddox; five nieces, Nikki Duhon, Skye Heldenbrand, Heather Devalcourt, Godchild Aimee Landry, and Hillary Shaddox; two great nieces and one great nephew and many, many friends. He was preceded in death by one brother, Timothy Wayne Shaddox; paternal grand parents, Fred and Ruth Shaddox; maternal grandparents, R W and Cora Carroll, and John Stout. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 3:00 to 9:00 PM on Monday and Tuesday from 9:00 AM to time of service. Pallbearers will be Doug Brotherton, Tony Mark, Brett Breaux, Chuck Kemzuro, Randie Broussard, Shane Ransonet, Bruce Lanning, Keith Havard, and Mike Wallis, his buddies.
