Toni Breaux Guillotte

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, September 27, 2025 in Sacred Heart of Jesus Mausoleum for Toni Breaux Guillotte, 65, who passed away on August 13, 2025. Toni’s love for music began at the age of five, when she began piano lessons with her teacher, Mrs. Wright. She quickly put that love to use, becoming involved in the early days of St. Edmond’s Church, where she sang joyfully to the congregation and praised the Lord with her beautiful voice. She later shared her gift through singing with a local chorus, leaving behind memories of her strong and uplifting spirit. Toni was also deeply committed to helping others. Wanting to make a difference for those suffering from breast cancer, she became active in the Susan G. Komen Acadiana Chapter, where her dedication eventually led her to serve as president. She was always ready to lend an ear to anyone in need, and her generosity went without saying. The bulk of her career was spent in the Cargill Salt Division, where she dedicated over 42 years of service. During that time, she earned numerous professional accolades, including a national recognition trip where she and her beloved husband, Eldridge “Pooky” Guillotte, fulfilled a lifelong dream of visiting Hawaii. Toni retired in February 2025, leaving behind an inspiring legacy of hard work and achievement. Her love for sending flowers on special occasions will surely be missed, but her joys in life—hot air balloons, country music, butterflies, playing Pokeno and Cadillac—will always be remembered by those who loved her. A resident of Duson, Toni was the daughter of the late Eddie Breaux and the former Lou Anna McDonald. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Eldridge “Pooky” Guillotte; her brother, Timothy “Tim” Breaux; and her nieces, Katherine “Kate” Breaux and Sydney Breaux. She was preceded in death by her son, Matthew “Matt” Gene Stanfield, and her parents, Eddie and Lou Anna Breaux. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Bertrand on Saturday, September 27, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:45 PM with a Rosary being prayed at 10:00 AM in the funeral home.
