Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 in Delhomme Chapel - Scott for Tony James Berard, 59, who passed away on May 28, 2021 at his residence. Pastor Todd Menard, Senior Pastor of Family Life Church, will conduct the funeral services. Burial will take place in St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Mausoleum - Duson, LA. Tony, a resident of Duson, was the son of the late Joseph Berard and the former Edith Hebert. Whether at the house or the billiards hall, he loved shooting pool with his family and friends. Tony enjoyed fishing out in Henderson, or crabbing down in Rockefeller; whatever he was doing, Tony was always with his family. From his cooking to the Saturday night “family time” at his house, Tony will be dearly missed by family and friend alike. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Mona Romero Berard; daughters, Chassidy Berard, Jade Clement (Brandon), and Brooke Berard; sons, Anthony Berard (Catherine) and Austin Berard (Samantha); grandchildren, Braelyn Hebert, Saegan Hebert, Kolden Benoit, Lexsten Benoit, Raylan Kibodeaux, Carly Duhon, Emerson Cortez, Hayden Berard, Mya Stansbury, Lillian Berard, Ella Stansbury, and Avery Berard; siblings, Linda Breaux (Kenneth), Carol Champagne (Johnny), Mary Mouton (David), Warren Berard (Jackie), Altheus "John-O" Berard, Sharal Blanchard (Mike), Wendy Bourgeois (Darren), Elizabeth Berard (Kenneth), and Tammy Romero (David). He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Berard and Edith Hebert; brothers, Ronald Berard, Donald Berard, and Terry Berard. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Scott on Monday, May 31, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM. A Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM Monday evening in the funeral home. Visiting hours will continue on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 from 8:00 AM until the time of service. Pallbearers will be Anthony Berard, Austin Berard, David Romero, Altheus Berard, Jeremy Mouton, and Noah Romero. Honorary Pallbearers will be Floyd Meche, Warren Berard, and Nicholas Breaux.
