Viola P. Vincent Hulo

Funeral Services will be held at a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, January 11, 2013 at St. Joseph Church for Viola P. Vincent Hulo, 94, who passed away on January 8, 2013. Reverend Aaron Melancon, Pastor of St. Joseph Church, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Lectors shall be Kimberly B. Degeyter and Julie C. Comeaux. Gift bearers will be Gwen B. Bowden and Lisa C. Walls. Music will be provided by Tammy Maturin. Burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery in Milton, LA. Mrs. Hulo, a resident of Milton, LA, was the daughter of the late Noah Picard and the former Rosa Duhon both of Milton, Louisiana. She spent most of her life caring for her children and grandchildren. She was a wonderful mother. She had many friends and enjoyed bowling and traveling. She was a member of St. Joseph's altar society. She is survived by her six daughters, Barbara V. Babin and her husband Francis, Goldie M. Vincent, Bonnie V. Hebert and her husband Wayne, Vickie V. Landry and her husband Riley, Brenda V. DeLay and her husband Chris, and Debra V. Venable and her husband Stephen; her three sons, Floyd Vincent and his wife Deanna, Mark Vincent and his wife Jeanette, and Chuck Vincent; her step daughters, Jeanne Hardy, and JoAnne Lindstedt and her husband Roger; her step son, John Hulo; thirty two grandchildren; thirty four great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; two step grandchildren; step sister Anna Lou Romero and her husband Don and her step brother, Perry Picard and his wife Betty. She was preceded in death by her parents: Noah Picard & Rosa Duhon Picard; her first husband, Ollie P. Vincent, and her second husband Joseph A. Hulo, Jr.; daughter Faye V. Comeaux; step sister, Merlyn Duhon and her brothers, Roland Picard, Nolan Picard & Walter Picard. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home of Maurice on Thursday from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Friday from 8:00 am until the time of services. Pallbearers will be Mark Vincent, Chuck Vincent, Wendell Babin, Terrell Vincent, Michael Comeaux, Jason Landry Perry Picard and Craig Comeaux.
