Amy Lantier Cormier

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, April 1, 2022 in Delhomme Funeral Home Chapel of the Flowers - Bertrand for Amy Lantier Cormier, 99, who passed away on March 26, 2022. Deacon Art Bakeler will conduct the funeral services. Burial will take place in Holy Mary Mother of God Cemetery. Amy retired from Our Lady of Fatima Catholic School where she worked as a Cafeteria Worker for 30 years. Her passion of cooking and baking for others brought her joy. It was the way she showed her love. She made the best Beignets, Bread rolls, and King Cakes. She was a devout Catholic and woman of faith. Her famous words were, Cher BeBe Va and Mais, yall are early. She was a strong woman and Cancer survivor. Amy was a loving wife, sister, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed. Amy, a resident of Lafayette, was the daughter of the late Avery Lantier and the former Clothile Romero. She is survived by her son, Bradley J. Roy; grandchildren, Steve Roy and wife, Kellie, and Brandy Roy Lopez and husband, Cale; great grandchildren, Silas Roy, Joshua Roy, Moriah Roy, and Benjamin Roy; great great granddaughter, Zayana Roy; three siblings, Theresa Domingue, Isabelle Hinton, and Doris Breaux. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wilfred Cormier; grandson, Bradley J. Roy, Jr.; siblings, Early Lantier, Ernest Lantier, Lauris Webb, Hazel "Toon" Roy, Betty Touchet, and Beverly Thibodeaux, The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Bertrand on Thursday, March 31, from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
