Betty Jeanne Toups Beggs

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 12, 2022 in Delhomme Funeral Home - Maurice for Betty Jeanne Toups Beggs, 87, who passed away on February 8, 2022. Reverend Paul Bienvenu, Pastor of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, will conduct the funeral services. Burial will take place in St. Alphonsus Cemetery. Mrs. Beggs, a resident of Lafayette, was the daughter of the late Sydney Toups and the former Emathilde Trahan. She is survived by her children, Donna DeSpain and husband, Kenneth, Karl Broussard, Janet Putnam and husband, Rick, Brian Broussard, Dwayne Broussard and wife, Evelyn, and Joey Broussard; sister, Laura Toups Putnam; grandchildren, Lance, Tiffani, Emerald, Annie, Kenneth, Jr., Elizabeth, Suzanne, Angela, Jessica, Chasity, Benjamin, Kara, Windy, Wade, Brittany, Austin, Hayden, and Nicholas; great grandchildren, Brendan, Emeline, Annabelle, Larrison, William, Scarlett, Anahlis, Penny Anne, Jesse, Noah, Liam, Jude, Evan, Evangeline, Ella, Ariana, Kameron, Reagan, Justice, Zana, Autumn, Trey, Devon, and Jalen; great great grandchildren, Chloe, Remington, Rhyker, and Dru. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John David Beggs; children, Jesse Broussard, Karen Broussard, and Mark Broussard and brother, Leo C. Toups. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Maurice on Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 8:00 AM until the time of service. A rosary will be recited at 11:00 AM.
