Hilda Marie Brotherton Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

A Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 19, 2022 in St. Alphonsus Catholic Church for Hilda Marie Brotherton, 75, who passed away on May 15, 2022 surrounded by her family. Reverend Paul Bienvenu, Pastor, will be Celebrant of the Mass. Hilda was a member of the St. Alphonsus Ladies Altar Society and also served as a Eucharistic Minister. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino with her sister, reading, and painting. Most of all, Hilda enjoyed spending time with her family. Hilda, a resident of Lafayette, was the daughter of the late Anthony Boudreaux and the former Lucy Broussard. She is survived by her husband, Douglas Brotherton; five children, Joseph Harold Lee Latiolais, Jr., Christopher Joseph Latiolais (Natalie), Scarlett Dionne Benoit, Amber Adana Latiolais Reed (Randy), and Anthony Joseph Latiolais; grandchildren, Cole Latiolais, Cooper Romero, Haley Romero and Justin Latiolais; siblings, Sandra Boudreaux (Larry), and Tony Boudreaux (Renella) as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Maurice on Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM. A Rosary will be recited at 11:00 AM in the funeral home In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions, in her memory, be made to St. Alphonsus Ladies Altar Society.
