Hilda LeBlanc Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, July 22, 2022 in Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Broussard, Louisiana for Hilda LeBlanc, 93, passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 17, 2022 at Maison de Lafayette Nursing Home. Fr. Casey Dugas will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Inurnment will take place in Sacred Heart of Jesus Mausoleum. She was a devout Catholic who entered the convent to become a Most Holy Sacrament sister upon completion of high school. Because of her failing health, she left to work for the Diocese of Lafayette for over 40 years. Hilda was a parishioner of Our Lady of Wisdom Catholic Church where she worked for many years. She will be remembered for her warm welcome as she answered the phone at Immaculata Center for the Diocese of Lafayette. She is survived by one brother Darrel LeBlanc and her nieces, Datie Cespiva and Carolyn and Nick Hebert. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Nelson and Dewey LeBlanc and her parents.
