Houston B. Badon Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery - Pinhook for Houston B. Badon, 86, who passed away on May 16, 2022 at his home. Reverend Chris Fusilier will conduct the funeral services. Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park. Houston was a retired Petroleum Engineer from UNOCAL with over 30 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, and family beach vacations. Houston was a sports enthusiast who recalled many stats. Mr. Badon, a resident of Lafayette, was the son of the late Maurice Badon and the former Mary Lavergne. He was raised in Thibodeaux, LA. He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Joan Badon; children, Kay Andrus (Mitch), Julie Bollinger, and Mitchell Badon (Susan); 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Craig Badon, and 6 siblings. The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice of Acadiana for their compassionate care.
