Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 in Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Jane Dwyer Baker, 90, who passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at her residence. Rev. Howard Varnado and Jesse Varnado will conduct the funeral services. Burial will take place in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Baker, a resident of Lafayette, was the daughter of the late Jack Dwyer and the former Ruby Redwine. She is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Varnado (Howard) and Karen Blackburn (Dr. James Blackburn); grandchildren, Jesse Varnado (Kelly), Tamara V. Ohman, Kayla B. Powell (Mike), Matthew Bernard (Charlette), and Paul Varnado (Elizabeth); great-grandchildren, Abel Varnado, Maia Hopkins, Elias Varnado, Wells Ohman, Lucas Bernard, Ruby Varnado, Asher Varnado, Poppy Ohman, and Bryan Bernard. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale B. Baker; parents, Jack and Ruby Dwyer; and granddaughter, Hannah Grace Varnado. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Bertrand on Monday, March 21, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Visiting hours will continue on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 from 8:00 AM until the time of service. Pallbearers will be her family and her friends.
