A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 in Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church for Kyle Michael Credeur, 33, who passed away unexpectedly on January 9, 2022 at his residence. Rev. Fr. Mark Derise, Pastor of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services. A private inurnment will take place in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery on Thursday, January 13, 2022. Kyle, a resident of Lafayette, was the son of Dwayne Credeur and the former Barbara Broussard. An avid hunter and outdoors-man, Kyle loved hunting, especially with his father and best friend, Dwayne. He was a loving husband to his wife and enjoyed their everyday workouts, traveling, and her amazing cooking. He loved classic Country Saturday Nights and riding in his black truck. Kyle was always quick to lend a helping hand and was well-known for his generosity. He was a loving "Nonc" to his godchild and niece, Elizabeth. Kyle had a huge heart and was adored by all he encountered; his comforting smile will be dearly missed. He is survived by his wife and the love of his life, Kathleen Gannon; parents, Dwayne and Barbara Credeur; sisters, Tiffany Credeur Benson (Tim) and Lauren Credeur; niece and godchild, Elizabeth Benson; paternal grandmother, Montez Hemphill Credeur; maternal grandparents, Milton and Anna Lou Broussard; father-in-law, William "Billy" Gannon (Dina); sisters-in-law Sarah Elizabeth Gannon and Emily Gannon; brother-in-law Will Gannon, and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; and "fur-babies", "Axel", "Boone", "Remy", "Dixie", "Sadie" and "Oscar". He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Russell Credeur; uncle, Kermit Doucet; and mother-in-law, Patricia Gausman Gannon. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Scott on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 beginning at 9:00 AM. A Rosary will be prayed at 11:00 AM on Wednesday morning in the funeral home. Visiting hours will continue following the Rosary until the time of service. Pallbearers will be Tim Benson, Shelley Landry, Sean Fava, Wayne Leleux, Anthony Morris, and Carmen Sandoz. Honorary Pallbearers will be Adam Credeur, Andre Doucet, and Thomas Hesse.
