Lynn Patrick Delcambre

January 11, 1957 - February 16, 2022

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, February 21, 2022 in Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Lynn Patrick Delcambre, 65, who passed away on February 16, 2022. Rev. Steve Younger, Pastor of Emmanuel Church, will conduct the funeral services. Burial will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery of New Iberia. Lynn, a resident of Lafayette, was the son of the late Verland Delcambre and the former Jerry Gonzales. He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching football, and listening to music, especially the "Oldies". He even DJ'd as "Mister Magic" for many years; a nickname known by many. Lynn loved fishing, baseball, bowling, and really sports of every kind, except golf! He is survived by his wife, Edith Underwood Delcambre; children, Christy L. Delcambre, Justin J. Delcambre, Ashley J. Delcambre, Michael A. Delcambre, and Stacy D. Bernard (Tyrus); twelve grandchildren and one great-grandson; mother, Jerry G. Delcambre; sisters, Jamie D. Langlinais, Kathy R. Delcambre, and Julie D. Primeaux (Dale); and brother, Chris A. Delcambre. He was preceded in death by his father, Verland John Delcambre. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Bertrand on Monday, February 21, 2022 from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Pallbearers will be Michael A. Delcambre, Justin J. Delcambre, Tyrus Bernard, and Chris Delcambre.
