Mackie Lee Pratt Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 15, 2022 in Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers - Bertrand for Mackie Lee Pratt, 88, who passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at his residence. Reverend John Cannon, Pastor of Asbury United Methodist Church, will conduct the funeral services. Burial will take place in Fountain Memorial Cemetery. Mackie retired from Amoco Production after 33 years of service. He was an avid outdoorsman and self-proclaimed ACE Bouree player. Mackie, a resident of Lafayette, was the son of the late Mackie Pratt and the former Rosalie Tate. He is survived by his children, Doug Pratt and wife, Chris, David Pratt and wife, Charlene, Paula Pratt and Honorary daughter, Susan Hall; grandchildren, Jason Pratt, Eric Pratt, David Pratt, Jr., and Hunter Pratt; great grandchildren, Camryn Godeaux, Jenna Pratt, Jackson Pratt, and Truett Pratt. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Janice Pratt, and siblings, Gertie Mayeux and Laddie Pratt. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Bertrand on Friday, July 15, 2022 from 9:30 AM until time of service. Pallbearers will be his sons and grandsons. The family would like to thank the staffs of Hospice of Acadiana and Right at Home Health Care Services for their compassionate care.
