Rendell Trahan Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, August 19, 2019, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church for Rendell Lartigue Trahan, 49, who passed away on August 16, 2019. Burial will take place in St. Alphonsus Mausoleum. Rendell was born and raised in Maurice and is a graduate of North Vermilion High School. He is survived by his daughters, Kristy Trahan and friend, Kade, Kayla Trahan and friend, Lance, and Paige Trahan; his mother, Jessie Simon and step-father, John; his father, Paul Donald Trahan; his brother Damon Trahan and wife, Katharina, his step-sister, Denice and husband, Ken, and their children; Godchildren, Lani Trahan and Eric Landry; Godmother, Susan (Glenn) Klein; Godfather, Riley Landry; aunts, Glinda Hebert, Jeanelle (Curley) Montet; uncle, Charles (Deanna) Hebert; aunt, LeeAnna Landry; Anna Hebert; and his favorite companion and co-pilot, Jazz. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thear and Agnes Trahan and Marie and Ellis Hebert; his uncles, Lloyd Hebert, Lallis Hebert, Leeward Trahan and Dudless Landry. He worked various construction and welding jobs; however, his favorite was working for Bill, Rachel and Darrel Poole, dba, BP Consulting. Rendell loved his horses. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home – Maurice on Monday, August 19, 2019, from 8:00 AM until 2:30 PM. A Rosary will be recited at 1:00 PM. Pallbearers will be Jarrod Broussard, John Simon, Damon Trahan, Kade Istre, Richie Hebert and Shane Guidry.
