Robert John Trammell

July 10, 1942 - January 25, 2022

Robert John Trammell, 79, passed away on January 25, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family. R.J., a resident of Church Point, was the son of the late Adolph Locke and the former Mary Griffith. R.J. served in the U. S. Air Force for 4 years, during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a faithful member of South College Road Church of Christ of Lafayette. R.J. didn't take up much space in the world but cast a long shadow. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Judy Matheson Trammell; five children, 10 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sister, Janet McCartney, and one brother, Mike Trammell. He was preceded in death by his parents, birth mother, Gladys Griffith, and brother, Jerry Floyd Trammell. Personal condolences may be sent to the Trammell family at www.delhommefuneralhome.com.
