Rosaline Maitre Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church for Rosaline Maitre, 81, who passed away on June 11, 2022 at The Carpenter House of Acadiana. Reverend Arockiadass Vincent will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Burial will take place in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery. Rosaline enjoyed dancing, cooking, sewing, playing cards, casino trips, and visiting with family and friends. There was always a fresh cup of coffee awaiting visitors. Rosaline, a resident of Scott, was the daughter of the late Claude Weston Stoute and the former Bertha Lantier. She is survived by her children, Sheila Maitre Hector and husband, Philip, and Derrick Paul Maitre and wife, Jessica; 7 grandchildren, Jada Hector, Jodi Babineaux, McKenzie Maitre, Fallon Bearb, Katelyn Gautreaux, Coltin Maitre, and Callie Maitre; 5 great grandchildren, Liam Babineaux, Olivia Babineaux, Rheese Morvant, Baylin Ray, and Zaylex Wade. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Adam Hubert Maitre; two sons, Shannon and Shane Maitre, and two brothers, Norbert Stoute and John Ray Stoute. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Scott on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM. A Rosary will be recited at 12:00 PM. Pallbearers will be Coltin Maitre, Carl Stoute, Tim Sonnier, Horace Trahan, Myles Martel, and Ricky Primeaux. Honorary Pallbearer will be Philip Hector.
