She was known and loved for her tales of life in New York, her self-proclaimed knack for ballroom dancing, and her infectious smile. She enjoyed reading, playing board and card games, solving crossword puzzles, and taking walks around her neighborhood. Sandy loved to cook, garden, and bake, but most of all, she loved every moment spent with her family. Her inner strength, empathy, and unconditional love will always be emblazoned on the hearts of her children. A heartfelt appreciation is extended by the family to the nurses, doctors, and staff of Maison de Lafayette for the compassion and care given to our mom. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her name to St. Jude’s Hospital or the Alzheimer's Association.
