Taylor Michael Kibodeaux Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, June 6, 2022, in Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church for Taylor Michael Kibodeaux, 29, who passed away on May 28, 2022. Rev. Fr. Brian Harrington, Pastor Our Lady of Sacred Heart Catholic Church – Church Point, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Burial will take place in Saint Joseph Cemetery #2 - Rayne, LA. Taylor, a resident of Scott, was the son of Michael Kibodeaux and the former Crystal Simoneaux. He was a graduate of Acadiana High School. Taylor’s most precious love was the love of his doodlebug, Marét. She was his reason for living. He was a loving, compassionate “mama's boy”, and Mom was definitely his person in life. Taylor was the ultimate big brother for his sisters, always having their backs and protecting them through life. He had the most generous, kind heart and loved with all his might. Taylor was one of the most hard-working people and would help anyone at any time. Everyone will miss his big smile, great hugs and of course, his humor & pranks. Taylor’s untimely passing was out of state, which has required extra time and preparations to return home to Louisiana, but as his family & friends all know too well… it’s just like him to be late for his own funeral! As we lay Taylor to rest, please celebrate his life and keep his memories alive as they live on in everyone who knew & loved him. He is survived by his daughter, Marét Elise Kibodeaux; mother, Crystal H. Boulet (Cody); father, Michael Kibodeaux; mother of his daughter, Lainey Marét Landry; sisters, Bayli Kibodeaux, Kylee Harris, and Kaitlyn Kibodeaux; maternal grandmother, Gwen P. Cook (Jack); maternal grandfather, Lonnie Simoneaux (Angela); paternal grandmother, Janelle S. Kibodeaux; maternal great-grandparents, Helen I. Pepper, Conrad and Nettie Simoneaux; godmother, Heather P. Butler (Tim Hysell); godfather, Craig Stutes (Jana); and godchildren, Kru Giarratano, Lennyn Lee, Alexas Cook, Aria Vanway, Olivia Granger, and Jea Aucoin. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John Allen Kibodeaux, Sr.; maternal great-grandfather, Joseph William Pepper, Jr.; paternal great-grandparents Eugene and Gladys Stutes, Joseph and Ina Kibodeaux. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Scott on Sunday, June 5, 2022, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A Rosary will be recited at 6:30 PM on Sunday evening in the funeral home. Visiting hours will continue Monday, June 6, 2022, from 8:00 AM until the time of service. Pallbearers will be Braedon Butler, Boden Butler, Tim Hysell, Gavin Cain, Eric Fontenot, Drake Boulet, Josh Chiasson, and James Aucoin. Honorary Pallbearers will be Christopher Breaux, Seth Giarratano, Kru Giarratano, and Dustin Cook. In lieu of flowers, the family would request contributions to a college fund for Taylor's daughter, Marét.
