Wilfrid "Will" G. Thibodeaux

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 in Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Wilfrid George Thibodeaux, 59, who passed away unexpectedly on February 5, 2022 at his residence. Deacon Ken Soignier will conduct the funeral services. Burial will take place in Sacred Heart of Jesus Mausoleum of Broussard. Wilfrid, a resident of Lafayette, was the son of the late Harry Thibodeaux and the former Inez Barras. He is survived by his wife, Connie Guidry Thibodeaux; son, Chandler J. Thibodeaux (Kassie Comeaux); brother, Perry L. Thibodeaux (Patricia); nephew, Scott W. Thibodeaux (Sherry); nephew and godchild, Ryan P. Thibodeaux; and mother-in-law, Genevieve Guidry. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Inez Thibodeaux; and father-in-law, Robert Bobby Guidry. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Bertrand on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM on Tuesday evening in the funeral home. Visiting hours will continue on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from 8:00 AM until the time of service. Pallbearers will be Scott W. Thibodeaux, Ryan P. Thibodeaux, Bill "T-Bill" Stelly, Steven Bellard, Kyle Boudreaux, and James Hollier. Honorary Pallbearers will be Chandler J. Thibodeaux and Perry L. Thibodeaux.
