Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 in Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Andrew “Andy” Charles Kulka, 68, who passed away peacefully at home on March 13, 2024. Father Howard Blessing will conduct the funeral services. Mr. Kulka, a resident of Carencro, was the son of the late Joseph Kulka and the former Patricia McCann. Andy was born on December 21, 1955 in Greenville, PA. He was well-respected in his career and worked in the oilfield for over 43 years and spent 25 of those years as a consultant. He enjoyed all things outdoors and had a passion for hunting and fishing, spending his days in the woods or at the pond. He loved to be with his family and friends, had a larger-than-life personality that was contagious and was always the life of the party. Andy had a gift for making sure that everyone in his presence was entertained, happy, and taken care of. He had a huge heart, was always ready and willing to help anyone in need, and everyone loved him. Andy touched many lives and will be remembered for his sense of humor and dedication to his family. Gone far too soon, he will be greatly missed. He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Annette Boudreaux Kulka; his children, Cary Adam Kulka (Kim), Joseph Michael Kulka (Amanda), Alexia Renee Kulka, Buffy Chiasson (Dwayne), and Bree Gary; his grandchildren, Lukas Gary (Nicole), Madisyn Champagne (Tyler), Evan Himel (Brittney), Griffin Champagne, Keali Gary, Baleigh Kulka, Alyssah Himel, Brylee Kulka, Ava Kulka, Haley Kulka, Kennedi Gary, and Joey Kulka; and his siblings, Gerald Xavier Kulka (Brenda), Edward Thomas Kulka, Nicholas John Kulka (Beth), Patrice Ann Dinger, and Paul Christopher Kulka. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Joseph Kulka Jr and Patrick Kulka; and his sister, Pamela Watson. The family requests that visiting hours be observed in Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 beginning at 9:00 AM. Eulogies will begin at 1:00 PM and the Rosary will be prayed at 3:00 PM. Visiting hours will continue, following the Rosary, until the time of service.
