Funeral services will be held at a 1:00 pm Mass of Christian Burial on Sunday, February 3, 2008 in the Delhomme Funeral Home Chapel in Scott for Anthony 'Tony' Ray Brown, 62, who passed away Saturday, January 26, 2008 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Reverend Gilbert Dutel, Pastor of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Interment will be held in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery. Mr. Brown was the son of the late Frank Brown and the former Margie Logue. A native of Cameron and resident of Lafayette for the past 20 years, Tony was a graduate of McNeese State University. He was employed in the Petroleum Industry for over 35 years, most recently being a self-employed oilfield consultant. Tony will always be remembered as being a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather, with his granddaughter being the apple of his eye. His favorite pastimes included, playing golf and being an avid LSU and McNeese fan. He is survived by his wife, Donna Theriot Brown; his mother, Margie Logue Brown of Lake Charles, Louisiana; one daughter, Tonya Brown Alleman and husband, Jody of Lafayette, Louisiana; one son, Chad Allen Brown and fianc', Jolyn Barras of Lafayette, Louisiana; one granddaughter, Emma Grace Alleman of Lafayette, Louisiana; and four brothers, Frankie Brown and wife, Liz of Sulphur, Louisiana, Mark Brown and wife, Hilda of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Jimmy Brown and wife, Janie of Hackberry, Louisiana, and Pat Brown and wife, Angie of Grand Lake, Louisiana He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Brown; his maternal grandparents, Edmond and Murgurphy Logue; and his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Vauss Brown. The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Saturday from 11:00 am until 9:00 pm and continue Sunday from 8:00 am until the time of service. Pallbearers will be Neil Gary, Troy Thibodeaux, Jay Theriot, Roger Theriot, Frankie Brown, Jimmy Brown, and Pat Brown. Honorary pallbearer will be Mark Brown.
