Beatrice Elsie Breaux

Funeral Services will be held at a 1:00 pm Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, March 1, 2010 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church for Beatrice Elsie Breaux, 78, who passed away on February 26, 2010 at 4:08AM at Meadowbrook Healthcare. Reverend O. Joseph Breaux, Pastor of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Entombment will take place in St. Alphonsus Cemetery. Mrs. Breaux, a resident of Lafayette, LA, was the daughter of the late Telesmar Lavergne of Acadia Parish, Louisiana and the former Octavie Alleman of Mire, Louisiana. Beatrice was self employed. She is survived by two daughters, Alfredia Hebert Demette and husband Henry, Alenea Breaux and friend, Bill Yoder; two sons, Joseph Breaux and wife Carolyn, Medmond Breaux and wife Patsy; eleven grandchildren, Jason Breaux and fiance Jada, Shawn Breaux, Kristin Thibodeaux and husband Eliot, Medmond "Bubba" Breaux, Jr., Lisa Holliday, Rachel H. Mouton and husband, Mark, Stanley Sam Hebert, Jr. and wife Shannon, Christina H. Ross and husband Nathan, Aaron Hebert, Jr. Karon H. Abshire and husband, Keith; and seventeen great grandchildren, Jacob Thibodeaux, Quinton Thibodeaux, Britainy Ainsworth, Sky Breaux, Ryan Holliday, Blaine Holliday, Jacob Holliday, Heather Alleman, Hunter Mouton, Shawnee Ross, Karol Ann Abshire, Korisa Abshire and Cadain Michael Hebert; one brother, Viliar "Blackie" Lavergne and wife Rowena and five step-grandchildren, Jeffrey Dufrend, Jody dufrend, Paulette Maurcaux, Leslie Garrett and Henry Demette, Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Irene L. Cormier and Rousella Lavergne; four brothers, Curtis, Edmond. Medmond and Rodney Lavergne; one daughter in law, Carol Ann Dugas Breaux and one son in law, Stanley Sam Hebert, Sr.; one grandaughter, Denise Ann Breaux Ainsworth and four great grandchildren, Shane, Trent and Brent Holliday and Baby Mouton. The family requests that visiting hours be observed on at Delhomme Funeral Home of Maurice Sunday, February 28, 2010 from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm and on Monday from 9:00 am until time of service. A rosary will be recited on Sunday at 6:15 pm. Pallbearers will be Jason Breaux, Medmond Breaux, Jr., Stanley Hebert, Jr. Aaron Hebert, Jr., Shawn Breaux, Mark Mouton, Keith Abshire, Nathan Ross, Eliot Thibodeaux and Quinton Thibodeaux.
