Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, June 16, 2014 in St. Joseph Catholic Church for Beverly Nepveux Picard, 84, who passed away on Friday, June 13, 2014 at 10:00 pm at Pelican Pointe Healthcare & Rehabilitation in Maurice, LA Burial will take place in St. Joseph Mausoleum in Milton, LA Beverly, a resident of Maurice, LA was the wife of the late John W. “Coon” Picard & the daughter of the late Jean Baptiste Nepveux and the former Charlotte Folse. Beverly was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, & great- grandmother. She had a sharp wit and was always up for a good discussion about politics or religion. She is survived by her children Julie P. Fox and husband David, Susan P. Menard and husband Mark, Mary Margaret P. Mouille' and husband Jean, John L. Picard, Richard P. Picard and wife Vicki, James L. Picard and wife Dawn, Robert L. Picard and wife Kecia; her grandchildren, Alex Fox, Craig and Matthew Menard, Katie M. Munce, Thomas and Jordan Picard, Amanda F. Istre, Andre' Faulk, Kelli P. Palermo, Jami P. Bergeron, Alison P. Moody and Katherine Picard; and six great grandchildren. Her sisters, Charlotte N. Guidry and husband Randy, Janice N. Judice and husband Julian. She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of forty seven years John W. "Coon" Picard, her three brothers, John Arlow Nepveux, Warren Sherrer Nepveux and Darrell Laurent Nepveux. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home of Maurice on Sunday, June 15, 2014 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. A Rosary will be recited at 6:30 pm on Sunday evening in the funeral home. Visiting hours will continue Monday from 8:00 am until the time of service. Pallbearers will be Alex Fox, Craig & Matthew Menard, Andre' Faulk, Jordan & Thomas Picard. The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to Sheryl and Jill with Community Hospice for their loving care of Beverly during her final days and the staff at Pelican Pointe Healthcare & Rehabilitation for their care of Beverly during her time there.
