Darrien Joseph Thibodeaux

Funeral services will be held at a 1:00 pm Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, April 26, 2007 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Scott for Darrien 'Dee' Joseph Thibodeaux. He was born was born May 25, 1997 and went to meet the Lord on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 after a 6 year battle with leukemia. Even with all of the hardships in dealing with his illness Darrien lived life to the fullest. He was born a fighter and left this world a fighter. Heaven is a better place today. Reverend Monsignor Richard Mouton, Pastor of St. Pius X Catholic Church, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Concelebrant will be Reverend Gilbert J. Dutel. Interment will take place in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery. Darrien was a star pupil in school, a master at video games, an aspiring guitar player, and will be singing with a choir of angels with his beautiful voice. Left to cherish wonderful memories of Darrien are his parents, Wade and Susan Thibodeaux of Carencro, and his sister, Brittany; his paternal grandparents, Hillman Thibodeaux of Carencro and Orelia Thibodeaux of Carencro; his maternal grandparents, Marc, Sr. and Betty Lou Mouton of Lafayette; numerous uncles and aunts; Marc, Jr. and Mona Mouton of Ridge, Michael and Debra Mouton of Lafayette, Eric and Karen Mouton of Maurice, Dennis and Natalie Mouton of Erath, Christopher Mouton of Allen, Texas, William and Lisa Mouton of Leroy, Marty and Paula Daigle of Carencro, David 'Bubba' and Stacie Thibodeaux of Scott; his godfather, Quincy Thibodeaux of Carencro and his godmother, Sheri Mouton of Maurice; his cousins, Jimmy, Nicholas, Sarah Jane, Joshua, Matthew, Megan, Aunt Kristi, Landon, Brandi, Jace, Sheri, Eric, Jr., Leslie, Dennis, Jr., Seth and Sydney Mouton, Megan and Kade Savoy, Nicholas Daigle, Fallon Hernandez, Quinton, Kayli, Madison, Destiny and Isiah Thibodeaux and Blake and Landon Domec. The family requests that visiting hours be observed Wednesday from 11:00 am until time of service on Thursday. A rosary will be recited Wednesday at 7:00 pm in the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Quincy Thibodeaux, Nicholas Daigle, Marty Daigle, Dennis Mouton, Christopher Mouton and William Mouton. Honorary pallbearers will be David 'Bubba' and Quinton Thibodeaux, Marc, Jr., Michael, Eric, Jimmy, Nicholas, Joshua, Matthew, Eric, Jr., Dennis, Jr. and Seth Mouton.
