Eva Mae "Maw" Clark

A Liturgy of the Word will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, February 23, 2023 in the Delhomme Chapel of Scott, for Eva Mae "Maw" Clark, 95, who passed away on February 18, 2023. Fr. Donovan Labbe, Pastor of St. Basil Catholic Church - Judice, will conduct the funeral services. Lectors will be Linda Clark and Robin Andrepont. Burial will take place in Sts. Peter and Paul Mausoleum. Mrs. Clark, a resident of Duson, was the daughter of the late Mayo Bourque and the former Melanie Begnaud. Eva loved getting together with family and friends, especially her Tuesday Bourré games. Her passion was gardening, cooking and baking, for all of those she loved; no one left her house without something to eat. Eva Mae will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her son, Dave A. Clark, Sr. (Angela); seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and daughters-in-law, Linda Alleman Clark and Gloria Daspit. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 73 years, Roy Clark; sons, Melvin Clark and Russell Clark; foster-sons, Conrad Daspit and Laurence Daspit; parents, Mayo and Melanie Bourque; brother, Anatole Bourque; and sister, Georgie Bourque Cormier. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Scott on Thursday, February 23, 2023 beginning at 9:00 AM. A Rosary will be prayed at 2:30 PM Thursday afternoon in the funeral home. Visiting hours will continue, following the Rosary, until the time of service. Pallbearers will be Jim Andrepont, Jackson Andrepont, Dave Clark Jr, Shane Miller, Brandon Guillory, and James Olds. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jacob Mroczkowski, Alex Andrepont, Landon Olds, and Gage Olds.
