Florine M. Broussard

Funeral Services will be held at a 11:00 am Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, August 24, 2013 in St. Alphonsus Catholic Church Maurice, LA for Florine Mouton Broussard, 85, who passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at 1:15 am at her residence with her family in Maurice, LA. Reverend O. Joseph Breaux, Pastor of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, will be the Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Burial will take place in St. Alphonsus Cemetery. Florine, a resident of Maurice, LA was the daughter of the late Adolph (Doo) Mouton and the former Editha Broussard Guidry. She was a talented and devout wife, mother, and grandmother. She and her husband Pressley J. Broussard, Sr. were married for 63 years and were the owners of P & S Auto Parts in Maurice for 22 years when they retired. She is survived by her husband Pressley J. Broussard, Sr.; her three sons Randell M. Broussard, Sr. and his wife Lori, Sidney K. Broussard and his wife Cheryl, and Pressley J. Broussard, Jr. and his wife Pamela; her daughter Marla A. Broussard; Eleven grandchildren, Gwen Broussard and husband Blaine, Randell M. Broussard, Jr. and wife Kaki, Tina M. Broussard, Shawn L. Broussard and wife Lisa, Nicholas P. Broussard and wife Tammy, Scott M. Broussard, Jason P. Broussard and wife Brandy, Pressley J. Broussard, III and wife Samantha, D. Wade Prejean, Jr. and wife Kayla, Carmelite A. Miller and husband Christopher, and Wyatt J. Broussard; Eighteen great grandchildren; two sisters Beverly LeBlanc and husband Leven, DelDean David and husband Dale; and one brother Berlon Mouton. She will be missed and loved always in our memories. God rest her soul. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers Thomas Guidry and Michael Guidry. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home Maurice on Friday, August 23, 2013 from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm on Friday evening in the funeral home. Visitation will continue Saturday from 8:00 am until the time of service. Pallbearers will be Shawn L. Broussard, Randell M. Broussard, Jr., Scott M. Broussard, Jason P. Broussard, D. Wade Prejean, Jr., and Pressely J. Broussard, III. Honorary Pallbearers will be Nicholas P. Broussard, Christopher M. Miller, and Wyatt J.
