Guadalupe Landry Dryden

A Liturgy of the Word will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 20, 2024 in Delhomme Funeral Home - Maurice for Guadalupe Landry Dryden, 77, who passed away surrounded by her family on January 13, 2024. Deacon Jules Breaux of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church will conduct the funeral services. Interment will take place at a later date in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery in Leroy, LA. Lupe, a resident of Lafayette, was the daughter of the late Leocadio Hinojosa, Sr. and the former Maria Barrera. She is survived by her son, Kelly D. Hebert (Elise); daughters, Vanessa H. Roberts (Joey) and Linda H. Choate (George); grandchildren, Gavin J. Montgomery, Matthew J. Hebert, Kelly D. Hebert II (Haley), Paige D'Agostino (Paul), Peggy H. Bourque (Cole), Dante C. Hebert, Taylor C. Gaspard (Ian), Cady E. Roberts, Libbee G. Choate, Brandy M. Smith (Chad), Kourtlynn R. Mouton (Seth), and Jarred M. Roberts (Robin); twelve great-grandchildren; and siblings, Juan Deleon (Aminta), Elena Neal, Betty A. Kinney, Virgie A. Wooley (Rusty), Gloria F. Dauzat (JR), Johnny Aguirre (Rosemary), Bodie Aguirre, Billy Aguirre (Virginia), and Angela Aguirre (Danielle). She was preceded in death by her second husband, Ronald Landry; her third husband, William "Bill" Dryden; parents, Antero and Maria Aguirre; her biological father, Leocadio Hinojosa, Sr; sister, Olga Greene; and brothers, Antero Aguirre, Jr., Leocadio Hinojosa, Jr., and Arnold Hinojosa. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Maurice on Saturday, January 20, 2024 beginning at 10:00 AM. A Rosary will be prayed at 1:30 PM on Saturday afternoon in the funeral home. Visiting hours will continue, following the Rosary, until the time of service. Pallbearers will be Kelly D. Hebert II, Dante C. Hebert, Matthew J. Hebert, Isaac Wiggins, John Michael Deleon, and Bodie Aguirre. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gavin J. Montgomery, Juan Deleon, Billy Aguirre, Johnny Aguirre, and Jeff Aguirre. The family would like to thank the nurse, doctors, and staff of Heart of Hospice for their compassionate care, during Lupe's time of need.
