Funeral services will be held at an 11:00 am Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, October 1, 2007 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Jerry Ann Vincent, 67, who passed away Friday, September 28, 2007 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. Reverend Darren Eldridge, Associate Pastor of St. Edmond Catholic Church in Lafayette will be Celebrant of the Mass and conduct the committal services. Gift Bearers will be Michael Joshua Vincent and Kayla Michelle Vincent. Readings will be done by Ruth Lopez and Janice Richard. Entombment will take place in St. Alphonsus Mausoleum in Maurice, La. Mrs. Vincent, the daughter of the late Charles Robert Richard and the former Agnes Broussard, was a lifetime resident of Lafayette. She graduated from Lafayette High School in 1958 and attended Spencer Business College. Mrs. Vincent enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her friends. Survivors include her loving husband of 48 years, Huey Vincent of Lafayette; two sons, Dirk Vincent of Galveston, TX, and Trent Vincent and wife, Dana of Lafayette; two grandchildren, Michael Joshua Vincent and Kayla Michelle Vincent, both of Lafayette; and numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Robert Richard and Agnes Broussard. The family would like to thank all of her physicians, especially Dr. Jeff Budden for his extraordinary love and care. Also, Clyde Wynch, nurse on 4E and DMCU at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center for the special love and care he gave. Visiting hours will be observed on Sunday from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm and will continue on Monday from 8:00 am until the time of service. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 pm Sunday by Reverend Joe Breaux, Pastor of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Maurice in the Delhomme Bertrand Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Jese Vela, Jr., Abel Vincent, Jr., Jeremy Lopez, Ted Richard, Euphomond 'BooBoo' Broussard, and Cyril Thibodeaux, Jr..
